Create your CarcMail workspace
How to sign up, complete onboarding, and set up your workspace before launching outbound campaigns.
You can complete signup and have a workspace ready to use in under five minutes. No credit card is required for the free trial.
Overview
Your CarcMail workspace is the central hub where all your campaigns, leads, inbox connections, and AI settings live. Each workspace belongs to one account and is tied to your email address.
When you sign up, CarcMail guides you through a five-step onboarding wizard. This wizard collects the information the AI uses to write personalised outbound emails on your behalf — your company name, what you sell, who you target, and what outcome you’re aiming for. You only need to complete this once.
Once your workspace is created, you can connect inboxes, import leads, and start your first campaign. The free trial gives you 100 credits to get started, which is enough to send your first test campaign and explore the core features.
Before you start
- A valid email address to sign up with
- A brief description of your company and what you offer (used by the AI to write emails)
- A sense of who your target audience is — job title, industry, or company size
- Optionally: a connected Gmail or email inbox ready to test with
Step-by-step
Go to the CarcMail sign-up page
Visit carcmail.com and click Get started free. Enter your email address and create a password. You’ll receive a confirmation email — click the link inside to verify your address.
Complete the onboarding wizard
After confirming your email, you’ll land in the five-step onboarding wizard. Fill in each section:
- Step 1 — Your Identity: Enter your name and role.
- Step 2 — Company: Your company name, website, and a one-sentence description of what you do.
- Step 3 — Offer: What specific service or product you want campaigns to promote. Be specific — the AI uses this to write emails.
- Step 4 — Audience: Describe your ideal prospect. Job title, industry, and company size are the most useful inputs.
- Step 5 — Goals: What outcome you want from outbound — booking a call, getting a reply, driving a sign-up.
You can update all of this later in Settings → Identity.
Connect your first inbox
After the wizard, CarcMail will prompt you to connect a sending inbox. Click Connect Gmail for Google accounts (recommended) or Use SMTP for any other provider.
You need at least one connected inbox before you can send campaigns. See the inbox connection guides for details.
Explore the dashboard
Once your inbox is connected, you’ll land on the main dashboard. You’ll see your credit balance, campaign status, and inbox health at a glance. From here you can import leads, create your first campaign, or run the inbox warmup process.
How to confirm it worked
After completing setup, you should see:
- Your name and company shown in the top-right of the sidebar
- At least one inbox listed under Inboxes with a green “Connected” status
- Your starting credit balance (100 credits on the free trial)
If any of these are missing, check the step below that applies.
Common issues
| Issue | What to check |

| Confirmation email didn’t arrive | Check your spam folder. If nothing after 5 minutes, use the “Resend confirmation” link on the login page. |
| Wizard didn’t save | The wizard auto-saves each step. Refresh and continue — your previous answers should still be there. |
| Can’t get past inbox connection | You can skip inbox connection and add it later under Settings → Inboxes. |
| Credits show 0 | Credits are assigned after the wizard completes. Refresh the page. If still 0, contact support. |
